Growth & Growing

Dear Community of Supporters:

The last few months have been BUSY for us at Partnership in Property Commercial Land Trust. Since our team has tripled in size, we've been propelling the important work we do forward. Check out our updates below to see what we've been doing (including a VERY exciting save-the-date!)!

PIPCLT officially recognized as a 501(c)(3)!

  • First off, we have BIG NEWS! PIPCLT has officially received our 501(c)(3) status! Thank you to the City of Lakes Community Land Trust for their fiscal sponsorship and beyond. The work continues on--now as an official 501(c)(3)!

PIPCLT awarded a $150,000 from Greater Twin Cities United Way

  • We are THRILLED to have received a multi-year grant from Greater Twin Cities United Way to further PIPCLT's work of (re)developing and preserving affordable commercial space and community driven ownership of land!

PIPCLT closes on a 2nd Property!

This spring, PIPCLT purchased the first 2 properties in a 4 property bundle at 35th and Penn Ave N in the Cleveland Neighborhood of North Minneapolis. These properties will be owned by Northside Investment Cooperative Enterprise (NICE) MN who plan on retaining existing commercial and residential tenants. A special thank you to Land Bank Twin Cities for stepping in to secure the properties in an interim capacity + to Metropolitan Consortium of Community Developers (MCCD)!
