Domonique Jones named executive director of Partnership in Property Commercial Land Trust.

Dear Community of Supporters,

We’re back to share another Partnership in Property Commercial Land Trust (PIPCLT) update! And there are lots of them, so we’ll jump right in…

Organizational Updates

  • Our First Hire: We are extremely pleased to announce that Domonique Jones has officially accepted the role of Executive Director of Partnership in Property Commercial Land Trust! Please join us in celebrating her new role and her start date on Nov 1  2021.

  • New Board Members: As part of the transition from program to independent organization, PIPCLT added some new board members. We want to welcome Cameran Bailey, Barbara Hall, Andrew McLean, Kowsar Mohamed, Zahnia Harut and Qannani Omar.

  • Employment Opportunities: PIPCLT is getting ready to post two full time positions, very soon! We can’t wait, because we have a lot of work to get done. If you, or someone you know, is passionate about our mission and is ready to “roll up their sleeves,” keep an eye out for those opportunities (don’t worry, we’ll send out an email).

Property Updates

  • 1819 Lowry Ave N: PIPCLT is currently seeking a business owner or cooperatives looking to own or lease-to own a property in the Jordan neighborhood. The property is just over 2,000 square feet. For inquiries, please contact Domonique Jones at domonique@clclt.org

Business Owners

  • Our first business partner: PIPCLT has selected its first business partner, Zahnia Harut (also a new board member) who will own the 19 E 26th Street property in the Whittier Neighborhood. Zahnia is owner of Affinity Health Care and has exciting plans for the building. This also makes Zahnia our very first member. More to come.

Before we wrap up, we wanted to express our deep gratitude to the City of Lakes Community Land Trust, our home for the last few years.

It won’t be long before you hear from us again with more exciting updates and more opportunities to connect and be a part of our work. As always, PIPCLT appreciates your support for our work. We hope to see you very soon!

In partnership,
Domonique Jones, Executive Director and PIPCLT Board Members: Danielle Mkali, Aarica Coleman, DeVon Nolen, Jimmy Loyd, Taylor Smrikárova (née Cooper), Cameran Bailey, Barbara Hall, Andrew McLean, Kowsar Mohamed, Zahnia Harut and Qannani Omar, Davis Senseman, Mark Fick and E. Coco.
